This is a one-of-a-kind handmade medicine pouch, ready to hold your sacred offerings, tobacco, crystals and other items. It is made from sturdy recycled leather and decorated with handmade beads.
The beadwork is made by a community of women in Guatemala. We sent them the design and they did the work for us.
The bag is made from strong 2 1/2 mm recycled deerskin leather. Our local indigenous suppliers collect the skins for waste from the butcher during the hunting season and send them to an indigenous tannery, honouring the animal and ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
Simplicity and functionality are important to me. I designed it to be both strong and beautiful. I like the fact that different craftsmen contributed to its creation.
