Medicine bag – leather belt bag

Description

This is a one of a kind handmade medicine pouch, ready to hold your sacred offerings, tobacco, crystals and other items. It is made of strong recycled leather and decorated with handmade bead work. It is designed with the option to be worn on a belt.

The bead work decoration is made by a community or women in Guatemala. We sent them the design and they complete the work for us.

The bag is made from strong 2 1/2 mm strong recycled moose leather. Our local native suppliers collect skins destined for garbage from the butcher during hunting season, to send them to a native tannery, honouring all the animal and making sure that nothing goes to waste.

Simplicity and functionality are important to me. I have designed it to be strong as well as beautiful. I love the fact that different artisans have contributed to its completion.
